Overview
Set in a warehouse in Scotland, On Falling follows Portugese immigrant Aurora, trying to inch by in a low-income job fulfilling orders for an online shopping giant. Based on Carriera's interviews with workers in similar jobs, On Falling looks at the sharp end of convenience culture. Laura and Nia explore the film, talking about the real world effects of online shopping and the challenge of balancing hope and despair in Aurora's story.
