Overview
Johnny is 10 years old, but stands out from his peers. He is a curious observer of his mother’s turbulent love life in their social housing estate in Lorraine. This year at school, he is in Mr. Adamski’s class. The young teacher believes in Johnny and helps him push open the doors to a whole new world.
After Party Girl, Samuel Theis returns to the town of Forbach to bring us a sweet, poetic film with a resolutely political perspective on the moments that define the pre-teen years.
