Soon he’s drawn into a world of high-class crime far more sinister and serious than anything he encountered on the streets.
Both a perceptive tale of inter-racial romance and a crafty urban thriller, Smack and Thistle is a n unjustly forgotten British feature from a black director – Tunde Ikoli – who sadly hasn’t directed since.
