Overview
Atafeh and her brother Mehran have shared a comfortable existence growing up in an artistic, middle-class household in Tehran. But their close bond is threatened when Mehran returns from a spell in rehab with a newfound piousness, renouncing the perceived decadence of his former life. This spells trouble for Atafeh, whose relationship with her best friend Shireen had been evolving into clandestine romance, and soon the siblings are pitted against each other in a complex moral and emotional confrontation.
