Fifty years after Jean Rouch and Edgar Morin’s original experiment in cinéma vérite, Chronicle of a Summer, Florence Daumon – daughter of the film’s producer – interviewed key participants. Their frank reflections on both the film and their younger selves shed new light on the film and are combined with fascinating footage that didn’t make the final cut of Chronicle of a Summer.
