Overview

Olivier Ducastel and Jacques Martineau’s film opens with an audacious opening sequence exploring the interior of legendary Parisian sex club L’Impacte, creating an atmosphere of intense sexual excitement as our attention is drawn towards two young men who only have eyes for each other.

After having sex they leave the club and wander the streets of Paris together, in what could be the beginnings of a romantic relationship. However, something happens that forces both men to question their ideas about love, personal responsibility and desire. François Nambot and Geoffrey Couet are excellent as the two men; their physical performances matched by the emotional intensity of their post-sexual journey. Unfolding in real-time, this naturalistic journey mixes explicit sex with gentle intimacy to present a powerful drama about sex in the modern world.
