Reigate Tournament: Wrestling on Horseback at the Annual Show
Are you ready to rumble? Horseback wrestling makes its bid to change the direction of the war
Overview
Joey the war horse might have had it tough, but at least he didn't have to get involved in wrestling bouts. Neither horses nor riders seem to take much pleasure in this 'interesting item' from the Reigate Annual Show, but those in the saddle definitely get the better end of the deal. This newsreel story offered a perfect distraction from news of the Western Front.
