Overview
Were they dreaming of a White Christmas when a massive snowfall swept Britain on the evening of 25 December 1927? As the snow fell, newsreel cameras scoured the country for idyllic scenes of sledging and snowball fights like thesethe ones seen here. Meanwhile, oOne stuck-fast motorist isn't quite so charmed by the arctic conditions, but it's party time for the polar bears and penguins at Regent's Park Zoo!
