Overview
Dublin schoolgirl Lily is coming to realise she likes other girls, something she can only share with her gay best friend, Simon. However, a spiteful moment in the changing rooms marks her out as a target for bullying, impacting her self-confidence. Not knowing where to turn, she finds support from Simon and an older woman, Oonagh, to help her find the strength to face her bullies and be her true authentic self.
Nominated for six Irish Film and Television Awards including best director and film, Graham Cantwell's warm-hearted coming-out, coming-of-age tale is a fresh and honest look at being young and gay in contemporary Ireland.
